Apart from this being visually arresting, a simple idea deftly executed, and temptingly tactile with it's ripples, waves and folds, it also pretty much illustrates how I feel now that Spring has arrived.

I like what you've done to the place

 

Here is what my flat looks like, complete with comfy chair, a floor lamp, Tintin poster and black aluminium blinds, as well as a mixture of wood, plastic and metal. I feel like it has a sort of 80's bachelor pad aesthetic about it a la American Gigolo (maybe I need more grey accents).

I am having some festivities at my new flat next weekend in conjunction with my birthday. It should be interesting however as I only have at present, three chairs. Perhaps everyone will have to take turns sitting down.
Any one of these beautiful chairs drawn by Jacques Adnet around 1930 would go down a treat. As for the drawings themselves, is it too 1930's murder mystery parlance to say that I am completely charmed by them? I think so, no one says they are charmed by anything anymore.
